LIVE MUSIC This festival is all about the food… but we’ve added a bit of music for your pleasure too (playing both days):
Los Squideros – http://www.squidstage.co.uk/los_squideros.htm
Los Squideros have been together in pretty much the same format since 1997. The band quickly grew to a nine piece, then eleven, playing at pubs and clubs and many, many parties. During this time they have been very active with live shows around the country and have been invited to play at several music festivals.
The Roving Crows – http://www.rovingccrows.com
Roving Crows push the boundaries of the Celtic Folk genre and play with genuine passion, energy and soul – a must see live act. A vibrant mix of Celtic-inspired fiddle alongside original and intelligent lyrics backed by pounding, tribal and electronica infused dance grooves; the band comprises fiddle, electric and acoustic guitar, electric 5 and 6 string bass, pumping bongo percussion rhythms and vocals.
PUPPET SHOW For our little visitors, ‘The Fire Dragon’ will be performed by our regular puppet performers, Puppetree. http://www.puppetree.co.uk/
PEDAL POWERED SMOOTHIE BIKE – www.greenape.org.uk
PLUS: Knight’s Maze, Junior Obstacle Course, Adventure Playground, Burma Bridge Tree Top Walkway, Lakeside & Woodland Walks, Woodland Play Area and NEW Tree Hunters’ Trek!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Do I need to book my tickets in advance? If you are planning to attend the Chilli Festival we strongly recommend you book your tickets in advance. To avoid overcrowding there is a limit on the number of tickets available so we can’t guarantee any will still be available on the day.
Will there be any tickets available on the day? If all of our tickets sell out online before the event then there won’t be any tickets available to buy on the day. If they don’t sell out online beforehand, the remainder of tickets will be available on the gate.
How will we know if there are tickets available on the day? Online ticket sales will stop at 9am each day (or before if all tickets are sold). A message will be displayed on this page at 9am each morning advising whether any tickets are available to buy on the gate. Once we have reached our ticket capacity, we will update our website and place signs on the road advising the event is full and any cars who don’t have pre-purchased tickets will then be turned away.
I have a Privilege Card, do I need to buy tickets? If you have a valid Privilege Card you do not need to purchase tickets, or let us know you are coming. Please just arrive as normal and show your card to the ticket staff.
Am I allowed in with a Complimentary Ticket? Complimentary tickets are unfortunately not valid for the Chilli Festival
Can I bring my dog? Dogs are welcome, as always, but please bear in mind the event will be busy and there will be lots of spicy food around!
Will there be vegetarian / vegan food available? There will be plenty of vegetarian food available from the food stalls.
Can I exchange my ticket for a different day? Unfortunately any pre-purchased tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Is camping available? Camping is available in our Deer Park Campsite. Please see our Deer Park Campsite page for more details. All campers will be given a half price family ticket voucher which can be redeemed at the Chilli Festival gate. Campers do not need to pre-book tickets.
Is the event suitable for children? As well as the Chilli Festival entertainment, all of our normal attractions are also available. These include the knight’s maze, adventure playground, junior obstacle course, woodland play area and lakeside / woodland walks.
Is there disabled parking? Disabled parking is in the main Visitor Car Park for this event, close to the visitor entrance facility and around 200 metres from the Castle Courtyard.
