We are currently recruiting for the following position(s):
Head of Operations, Eastnor Castle
PLACE OF WORK:
Eastnor Castle & Deer Park, and elsewhere on the estate as necessary
HOURS OF WORK:
Varied number of hours per week depending on the season. Breakfast hours normally involve a 7.30am start. Weekend work is essential. Due to the nature of the role, the hours each week are inconsistent, some weeks it may be 40 hours, other weeks it may be only 5. Throughout the year the average is about 20 hours per week.
To assist with all in house catering requirements to include food preparation, service to guests and clearing away.
GENERAL PERSON CHARACTERISTICS:
The Catering Assistant needs to be hard working, flexible, well presented and confident to serve guests at Eastnor Castle. The position would be ideally suited to someone with previous catering experience but this is not essential.
To assist with the preparation of breakfasts and all other in-house catering
To take orders at the table when required
Serve food and drink as required
To clear and wash up after preparing food and keep the catering areas clean and tidy
To work weekends and early mornings
To help prepare simple cold lunches
Occasionally be responsible for cooking breakfast
Occasionally order food materials
Occasionally complete health and hygiene documentation
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
