EUROPEAN YEAR OF CULTURE
Eastnor Castle & Village Open Day

2018 has been designated the European Year of Cultural Heritage. Europe’s cultural heritage surrounds us in the buildings of our cities, our landscapes and archaeological sites. It is preserved not only in literature, art and objects but also in craft skills, stories, food and films. Across the United Kingdom organisations will be participating in this year by holding events that showcase our heritage and its European links.
Eastnor Castle & Grounds will be open Thursday 24th May with guided tours available. On this day only, tickets also include entrance to all of these village attractions:

Hoorah! Heartbreak Productions is pleased to announce that the Prince Regent is coming to visit. You are hereby required to attend an etiquette lesson hosted by The Association of Higher Etiquette and Manners (A.H.E.M), who will educate you in the politeness of high society.
Join Heartbreak, the Bennet sisters, and a host of charming, young bachelors (yes, Mr Dacy will be there. No, really, yes, that Mr Darcy), for an evening of comedy, romance, and more the one come-uppance, as we learn how to behave, ahem, properly.
Champagne and cucumber sandwiches are permitted at this outdoor adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, but do ensure you know how to properly use a napkin, remember to chew with your mouths closed, and please, try not to fall in love with Mr Darcy, as we believe he is very soon to be engaged. (You may also want to bring a blanket or chair to sit on and an umbrella, should the weather look inclement).

Meet a real life T-Rex! Get ready to travel back in time with a real walking, roaring T-Rex, the dinosaur that was truly feared by all. Our live dinosaur show is for people of all ages, with stunningly realistic animatronic puppetry to bring you a dinosaur encounter like no other. Along with the show we will display a selection of life like dinosaur models as well as dinosaur bones and eggs.
Shows are held at 11.30am, 1.00pm and 2.30pm.

OFF-ROADING WITH LAND ROVER

Realise your Land Rover Experience dreams with this fantastic event giving visitors the chance to passenger ride around part of Eastnor’s 53 miles of carefully maintained off-road tracks and obstacles. Spanning 5,000 acres in the shadow of the dramatic Malvern Hills, the wild and challenging terrain surrounding Eastnor Castle has been used as a Land Rover proving ground for over 5 decades, helping to develop the world’s most capable vehicles.
Land Rover Experience will be at Eastnor Castle on these 3 days in a fleet of Land Rover vehicles offering unique 25 minute passenger rides from the Castle Courtyard, from 11am until 4.30pm to Eastnor Castle visitors.
All included in the entrance price. No pre-booking required, rides will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis on the day.
Not suitable for children under 5 years of age. Limited booster seats available for children – all children must be seated in an appropriate car seat/booster seat until they are 12 years old or 135cm tall and must be accompanied by their parent/guardian at all times.
