Living & Working in Eastnor

Located on the southern edge of the Malvern Hills National Landscape, Eastnor village is situated within 3 miles of the market town of Ledbury where the mainline station trains run to London Paddington. The M50 (4 Miles) gives direct access to Birmingham, Worcester, Gloucester, and Cheltenham.

The surrounding countryside of the Malvern Hills National Landscape offers fantastic walking and seasonal access to the Estate Park and Castle.

Ledbury has been named as one of the best places to live in the district, according to the Sunday Times, due to the comprehensive range of shops, recreational and educational facilities.

EDUCATION
Bubbles nursery and Eastnor Parochial Primary School are both located in the village, providing exception childcare facilities. The Primary School for children aged 4 – 11 has been rated as outstanding by Ofsted.

The Elms Independent Prep School and Malvern College are also in easy reach of the village.

CHURCH
St John the Baptist Church sits in the heart of Eastnor village. The Grade 1 listed church is adjacent to Eastnor Castle and views of its tower are often the first sight for those entering the village. There has been a church on the site since the 12th Century; some parts of the early building remain, including the south nave doorway, the 12th century font and the 13th century nave arcade.

Eastnor Cricket Club is a thriving local club and a hub of activity throughout the year. A new and impressive Pavilion was completed in 2014.

Eastnor Deer Park leads directly onto the Malvern Hills and is a popular destination for walking, camping and large scale events and festivals throughout the year.

The Woodshed opened at the entrance to Eastnor Deer Park in 2021 and is open daily offering hot & cold drinks, cakes and light refreshments.

“We just wanted to say a huge thank you for allowing us to live on your estate for the last two and a half years. It was with a heavy heart that we had to end our tenancy and move on to a bigger home due to expecting our second child in July. We have created so many wonderful memories as well as lovely friends whilst living on the estate, and the team at the Estate Office are just delightful, nothing is too much bother. We’ve loved all aspects of being part of the Eastnor community and will continue to frequently visit the Deer Park and Castle.”
