ACCESS:

Disabled visitors are welcome to visit Eastnor Castle, however, certain areas of the grounds are not accessible. The castle grounds are hilly and laid to gravel in places so it may be difficult for wheelchairs and pushchairs to reach some areas, particularly if the ground is wet. We have a stair-climber up the entrance steps of the castle but disabled visitors must be able to transfer from their own chair to the chair on the stair-climber. Unfortunately, we are not able to use the disabled platform lift to the first floor bedrooms on Bank Holidays (including this event) For full details of our facilities for disabled visitors, please click here or call 01531 633160.

Wet Weather Update – 28.03.24

You may have noticed that it’s a little damp everywhere at the moment! Like lots of attractions around the country, we’re having to put a wet-weather plan into place for the weekend so please read on if you’re planning to visit us over the next few days as this may affect you.

CAR PARKING
Our overflow car park is waterlogged at the moment so we’ll be using Eastnor Deer Park as our main parking area (blue badge holders can still use the main visitor car park). Please therefore be prepared for a little walk down past The Woodshed and across the main road, to enter Eastnor Castle from the front drive. Parking will be on grass and we will have stewards helping with parking to ensure cars park safely and don’t get stuck. Please follow instructions from the stewards and please be patient. Please also understand that parking plans may change throughout the weekend as the weather forecast also continues to change!

TICKETS
Because of limited parking, we have also now limited our ticket capacity for the weekend meaning it is very likely that we will sell out for Friday and Saturday. We will NOT be selling any tickets on the gate; should any visitors arrive without tickets they’ll be directed to our website to purchase tickets and these are of course, subject to availability. Once we have sold out, visitors without tickets will be turned away.

Please have your tickets downloaded and have your ticket barcode ready to be scanned on arrival at the front gate. Wi-fi and mobile signal is limited on the estate so please, where possible, download your tickets before you leave home and take a screenshot to show our ticket staff on arrival.

FOOTWEAR
Due to the continuous rain over the past few weeks, the ground is very wet and is muddy in places. Wellies or waterproof shoes are highly recommended and please take extra care in places where it’s a little slippery.
