Drinks Reception
After you’ve said ‘I do’, our attentive team will be ready and waiting to start your celebrations. Mingling amongst your guests, offering glasses of glorious fizz and topping up drinks – our experienced catering team will ensure everyone is catered for, so you can relax and revel in your special day.
Whether you’re visualising a string quartet on the Upper Terrace or a harpist in the Great Hall, your guests can enjoy their reception drinks and delicious canapés surrounded by stunning architecture and awe-inspiring views of the Herefordshire Hills.
For those planning a summer celebration, we can also source garden games, like croquet and boules for your guests to enjoy whilst you take advantage of the plentiful photo opportunities around the grounds.

Crafted by our skilled caterers, your Wedding Breakfast is served after the Wedding Ceremony and Reception Drinks and features only the finest seasonal Herefordshire ingredients.
3 dining options, all unique spaces
Depending on your guests numbers, we have 3 different rooms where you can enjoy your wedding breakfast: the Dining Room, the Great Hall or a marquee on the Lower Terrace.
The State Dining Room
Capacity: Up to 80 guests
If you’re planning an intimate affair, our State Dining Room is the perfect setting for your celebrations. Round tables sit beneath lavish ceilings and stunning chandeliers, ready to welcome your wedding party for a waiting service or buffet-style Wedding Breakfast.
The epitome of exclusivity, our State Dining Room seats up to 80 guests, creating an intimate yet enchanting atmosphere for your friends and family.
The Great Hall
Capacity: Up to 150 guests
Boasting ornate arches and 60-foot ceilings, The Grand Hall is a spectacular setting to host your castle wedding reception. Featuring rich tapestries and soft furnishings – the warm, welcoming ambience of our Great Hall is idyllic for larger parties.
With seating for 150 guests, choose between round or long banquet tables, so you can enjoy your wedding breakfast in your preferred seating arrangement.
Lower Terrace Marquee
Capacity: Up to 600 guests
For couples sharing their special day with a sizable wedding party, we welcome you to host your wedding reception in a marquee on the Lower Terrace. With clear sides to showcase stunning views overlooking the castle and lake, a marquee wedding reception is stunning in the summer months.
Please note the marquee cost is not included in the exclusive hire of Eastnor Castle.

Evening Reception
Perfect for dancing, drinking and mingling with guests, we invite you to enjoy our opulent Octagon Room throughout your evening reception. With impressive arched windows and direct access to our enchanting terraces, the Octagon Room is located towards the rear of the Castle. Doors open directly to the Gothic Drawing Room and the Great Hall, so your guests can flow from room to room, taking in all the grandeur Eastnor Castle has to offer. Fireworks can also be arranged to provide a magical view as they illuminate up into the night sky.
With ample space for a four-piece band and a dance floor, our attentive team will ensure everything is seamlessly arranged whilst you and your guests are dining. Our talented caters are also available to deliver delicious delicacies for your evening wedding reception. A hog roast on the Upper Terrace is a firm favourite, but we encourage all our guests to indulge in their favourite foods.
