Cancer Research UK 10k September 2007 – 2 months on – over £16,000 raised!

20 January 2014

Over 400 charity supporters took on the challenge of running 10k for Cancer Research UK at Eastnor Castle in September.  2 months on, the sponsorship money is still flooding in, and over £16,000 has been raised so far.

The great news is that there’s more money to come!  Cancer Research UK is now encouraging all those who took part to dig out their sponsor forms and send them back in to the charity.

90% of the UK population live within 30 miles of Cancer Research UK funded research.  The 10k run at Eastnor Castle hopes to raise over £23,000 to support this work –such as the study into advanced bowel cancer currently being carried out in Worcester.
