Fun for Children

When it comes to fun for children, Eastnor Castle is bursting with things to entertain and excite children of all ages!

The grounds are brimming with natural play resources such as trees to climb, leaves to kick, sticks to collect and bugs to find! There are also some beautiful lakeside and arboretum walks for children to run off some energy! All children are offered a ‘Fun for Children’ booklet on arrival which offers puzzles, things to spot and challenges to complete.

A varied and exciting events programme runs from Easter until September with a special event being held on most days that the castle is open for visitors; please see the What’s On page for more details. All events held in the Castle and Grounds are included in the admission price (excluding Deer Park events and theatre performances).

Parent and Baby Changing facilities are available in our ladies and gents toilets.

Please kindly note that if you’re bringing a pushchair, the main visitor car park and some of the paths around the grounds are laid to gravel. The lakeside and arboretum walks are hilly in places and may be difficult with a pushchair. We also ask that pushchairs are left at the front door to the castle as they are not permitted inside.

“Amazing day at Eastnor Castle with the family. We laughed, we got soaked, we ate ice cream, but most importantly we made memories!”

Dogs Welcome

Eastnor Castle is very proud to be a Dogs Welcome tourist attraction and one of the few stately homes where dogs are welcome into its grounds and house.

If they are on a lead, your dog is welcome to wander with you when you visit, and every owner is offered dog waste bags on arrival. There is also a dedicated ‘Dogs-Off-Leads Area’ where dogs are free to run amongst the trees!
