EASTNOR CASTLE GOES BACK TO THE 15TH CENTURY

Top Herefordshire attraction, Eastnor Castle near Ledbury is bringing history to life with a Medieval Re-enactment event for the Bank Holiday weekend on Sunday 25th and Bank Holiday Monday 26th May between 11am and 4.30pm.
The grounds will come alive with a living history camp in the grounds showing authentic life in medieval times. There will also be an archery display, light hearted talks and displays of military equipment, medieval musicians and dancers around the grounds with plenty of opportunity for the public to ‘join in’.
The Kynges Ordynaunce, the most authentic artillery re-enactment group in Europe, will shake the Castle to it’s foundations when they fire their canons in a spectacular show on the Valley Lawn.
In addition Eastnor’s usual attractions will also be available, including the Knight’s Maze, Adventure Playground and Assault Course, Nature and Tree Trails, Lakeside and Woodland Walks and a Pig Roast will be serving delicious pork rolls.
