FUN FOR CHILDREN

When it comes to fun for children, Eastnor Castle is brimming with things to entertain and excite children of all ages! Here are some highlights:

Children’s Adventure Playground
Junior Assault Course
Knight’s Maze
Burma Bridge Tree-top Walk Way
Mini zip-wire
Woodland Play Area
Tree Hunters’ Trek

Land Rover Little Off Roaders – * please see note below

Fun for Children booklets are also offered to all children as they arrive which encourage them to engage with the castle and grounds in a fun way. Eastnor Castle is also brimming with natural play resources such as trees to climb, leaves to kick, sticks to collect and bugs to find! There are also some beautiful lakeside and arboretum walks for children to run off some energy!

At the far side of the lake sits a beautiful gilded photo frame with the castle and lake behind it. Children and families love capturing themselves in this frame as a memento of a family fun day out.

A varied and exciting events programme runs from Easter until September with a special event being held on most days that the castle is open for visitors; please see the What’s On page for more details. All events held in the Castle and Grounds are included in the admission price (excluding Deer Park events and theatre performances).

Children’s lunch boxes are available from the Castle Tea Room and we have parent and baby changing facilities in our newly refurbished toilets.

*Unfortunately we have had to retire our Land Rover Little Off Roaders as they have become damaged beyond repair. We are very sorry for any disappointment this will cause, we have tried our hardest to keep them running but they were becoming unreliable and visitors were arriving expecting to be able to have a go only to be told they were out of order. We are looking to have something new in the area very soon.

Lots to see and the castle grounds were huge which had lots of parks and other stuff. The staff were just so good and nothing was too much trouble and chatted to the kids and smiled all the time. Somewhere that treats kids in the right way instead of viewing them as a hindrance. Excellent value as well.
