 LAKE REPORT

Please follow the rules and support the bailiffs.

To wet your appetite a few of the lakes residents are displayed below.
Good luck and happy fishing.

MAY 2014

The first two months of the season have flown by!
The lake has been kind to several of our new members with most of the big fish coming out to them.
All the lake residents have appeared, apart from a couple I may not have heard about and all of them in great condition.

Most weights have been good and the Pristine graced the net of one new member on opening night at 30 pound plus, I think that being its best weight to date.
Pristine

On opening day a nice mid twenty common was caught from the Island swim, witnessed by myself.  The photograph however turned out rather strange!

Carp have been caught steadily from the start and from all around the lake, even short sessions can be enjoyable and productive.

Thanks to all the members for making everyone feel welcome and from what I can see there are some good anglers fishing the water.

Scattered
Nice Scaley
At the beginning of this month some of the carp showed signs of spawning behaviour and the past weekend probably bore this out with only a few fish being caught.

Enjoy the summer months and we hope to organise some social events.

Thanks Ian

Please can you keep dogs under restraint especially during daylight hours as visitors are required to do the same.

This will avoid any possible canine confrontations.
Remember to ALWAYS secure the gates behind you.

Thanks Ian
