CHURCH WEDDING CEREMONY

What can be more picturesque than a pretty stone village church, just a short walk from Eastnor Castle? Couples wishing for a Church Wedding Ceremony may consider St John the Baptist Church (Church of England) which is situated in the idyllic village of Eastnor. Follow the enchanting footpath for a 10-minute walk through the stunning grounds from the Castle’s front door, that leads you to the beautiful and atmospheric Eastnor Church.

Many couple choose to have a Church Wedding Ceremony before heading to the Castle for their wedding reception. The church can comfortably seat up to 150 guests and flowers that are used in the church may also be arranged within the Castle, in order to make the most of them and continue your chosen theme.

The church can be heated for those atypical English summer days and for wonderful winter weddings. An extra warm glow and romantic atmosphere can also be created from the many candles which they are happy to light for you upon request. By agreement you may add further candles of your own, they can be particularly effective on the window ledges.

Music can be catered for by the talented Eastnor Church organist, and an experienced team of bell-ringers are always delighted to peal out the news of your impending vows.

The church welcomes couples from outside the parish and invites you to attend a handful of services ahead of your wedding day, especially when your wedding banns are read to the congregation.

Fees are chargeable for getting married in the church and are set nationally. We can provide you with contact details and some basic information upon request.

“Thank you so much for organising such a wonderful day on Saturday – including the weather!
The organisation was tremendous and Ben and the staff were truly outstanding – entirely professional, attentive, discreet and effective. The meal was brilliant. It was really an excellent day.”
