Supporting the Community
SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY
We give careful consideration to our Corporate Social Responsibility and strive for long-term commitment towards being a responsible business. We are proud of the committed support we are able to give to the local community in a variety of different ways.
Charity of the Year
We offer a support programme to a chosen charity each year and for 2017, our chosen charity is Megan Baker House. Our commitments to them include complimentary tickets, presence at our events, use of the castle for a fundraising ball and use of the grounds for a family fun day. Megan Baker House is based in Leominster and is a charity providing FREE Conductive Education Services at its centre for children, teenagers and adults with special educational needs and physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy, head injury, stroke, dyspraxia and early on-set Parkinson’s disease. To find out more about the amazing work this charity does, please visit www.meganbakerhouse.org.uk.
Eastnor Primary School & Bubbles Nursery
The children from Eastnor Primary School and Bubbles Nursery, both located in the heart of the village, can often be found enjoying a walk around the grounds and playing in the adventure playground on days when the castle and grounds are closed to visitors.
Tickets and Prizes
We receive many requests each year for tickets to be used as raffle prizes at fundraising events for schools, charities and other groups. Each request is carefully considered and, whenever possible, we are able to send tickets if the request has come from a local organisation.
